Real Ales and Ciders   

The Elephant and Castle has been a consistent feature in the Real Ale Guide since 2006 due to the management teams’ experience in the license and brewing trade. Three ales are stocked all year round, Harveys Best Bitter is a permanent feature, with Brakspear Bitter and Timothy Taylor Landlord currently selling alongside.   
Also in stock is Westons Old Rosie, a CAMRA approved traditional cider, which at 7.3% might not be to everyone’s taste but should be tried.

Lagers     
With six draught lagers to choose from, customers should be able to find one that they like. The Heineken, brewed in Holland, is a good place to start, but with Kronenbourg, Stella Artois, Fosters, Amstel and Carling available on draught there should be a pint in there for you.        
     
Wines     
We try to stock a variety of wines, from new world whites French red. The ubiquitous Pinot Grigio and roses are available as well as a heavier shiraz malbec from the Argentina. Veuve Clicquot and a Prosecco top off the range if you feel the need to treat yourself.     
     
Spirits     
Various malt whiskys are available, with a constantly changing menu, but with Islay, Highland, Lowland and Speyside present, true whisky lovers should find something to excite their palettes.  
Gin, a much overlooked spirit, makes its presence known, you can stick with the usual Gordons or try Bombay Saphire, Tanqueray or Hendric’s. So, make your choice and decide on the mixer, for a refreshing experience.     
     
Soft drinks     
The Elly stocks a surprising array of soft drinks, with the stalwarts of Coke, Pepsi, lemonade and orange juice flanked by an additive free apple juice and Fentimans traditional ginger beer. Also available are a range of J2Os, pineapple juice, cranberry juice and a number of other soft drinks
